    • Each neighborhood has a charm

    • A golden key charm

    • A baby daisy fairy charm

    • A tea party charm

  • Players pick an envelope pawn, place it in a card stand, on the R.S.V.P. sign on the bottom left of the game board.

  • Each player takes a charm bracelet card.

Cards

  • R.S.V.P. Cards – Draw an R.S.V.P. card. Move your pawn forward to the first matching color space on the path.

  • Baby Daisy Fairy Cards – These can only send players forward never back. But you must correctly answer the question for any neighborhood you get to fly through. If you pick a baby daisy fairy card but there are no fairies ahead of you, collect a charm for your bracelet instead of moving ahead. There are 8 baby daisy fairy cards.

  • Neighborhood Cards – Each of the 8 neighborhoods has 35 question cards.

  • 35 Faux Pas Cards – Players are asked these questions when they land on a space with a pair of muddy pink shoes.

  • 53 Tea Party Cards – Players are asked these questions when they land on a space with a teacup.

Gameplay

  • Order of Play. Place four different colored R.S.V.P. cards castle side up. Each player picks a card. The order of play follows the colored jewels on the path: Green goes first, pink goes next, and so on.

  • On your turn, draw one R.S.V.P. card and move your pawn to the matching colored jewel space on the path.

    • If you land on a colored jewel space that has a teacup, you have landed on a tea party space. Pull a tea party question card from the front of the deck. Answer correctly and collect a teacup charm to place on your charm bracelet card at the end of one of the ribbons. Place the tea party question card in the back of the tea party deck. Answer incorrectly and you do not collect a charm. Your turn is over. Place the used R.S.V.P. card in a discard pile.

    • If you land on a space that has a pair of shoes, you have landed on a faux pas space. Pull a faux pas question card from the front of the deck and answer the question. Place the faux pas question card in the back of the faux pas deck. Your turn is over. Place the used R.S.V.P. card in the discard pile.

    • If you land on a baby daisy fairy space collect a fairy charm to place on your charm bracelet card at the end of one of the ribbons. Your turn is over. Place the used R.S.V.P. card in a discard pile.

  • Your turn is over. Place the used R.S.V.P. card in a discard pile. Repeat until you go through all the neighborhoods and make it to the Golden Gate of the Golden Rule.

Movement

  • Starting at the R.S.V.P. sign in the lower left of the game board, always move in the direction of the Golden Gate of the Golden Rule and the tea party at the top of the board.

  • Two or more envelope pawns may be on the same space at the same time.

  • 4 Slippery Slopes Of Bad Manners – If you land on a space that has a white slippery slope attached to it, you must move backward by sliding down the slope. If landing on a slippery slope means you have to go through a neighborhood again, you must answer another neighborhood question but do not collect another charm.

  • 4 Faux Pas Spaces – If you land on one of these spaces with a pair of pink shoes covered in a bit of mud -your pawn is stuck while you answer a faux pas question.

  • Rainbow Baguettes – There are multi-colored rainbow spaces at the entrance of each of the 8 neighborhoods which mean that no matter what colored R.S.V.P. card you draw, it will direct you to land on the rainbow space and enter the neighborhood. You cannot skip a neighborhood. There is a multi-colored rainbow space at the front of the Golden Gate of the Golden Rule. Once you land there, collect the last charm – a golden key.

  • 8 NEIGHBORHOODS – Once inside a neighborhood, answer a question from the assigned neighborhood deck. Correctly answer and collect a charm and place it on the corresponding neighborhood color spot on the bracelet board. For example, the Home neighborhood is green and has a charm with a picture of a house on it. If you correctly answer the Home neighborhood question collect a home charm and place it on the green spot on the bracelet board. If, however, you incorrectly answer, you must wait for your next turn to answer another Home neighborhood question. Correctly answer, collect a charm, and draw an R.S.V.P. card and move again.

  • 8 BABY DAISY FAIRY SPACES – If you pull a baby daisy fairy R.S.V.P. card you move forward to the closest fairy spot. You must correctly answer the question for any neighborhood between your current spot and the fairy spot. If you miss a neighborhood question, stop in that neighborhood. If you pull a jeweled R.S.V.P. card that causes you to land on a fairy spot, collect a fairy charm.

  • 9 TEACUP SPACES – If you land on one of these spaces with a teacup on it you must answer a question from the tea party card deck. Answer correctly, and collect a teacup charm.

Special Optional Rules For Younger Players

  • Younger players may collect neighborhood charms without answering a manners question if they can think of one manners rule associated with the neighborhood. Parents can help by reading aloud the manners “gem” of information printed out on each neighborhood and discussing why it is important.

  • Younger players can collect tea party charms just by landing on the space with a teacup. Parents are encouraged to discuss a question so the children can learn proper tea etiquette.
